Right, so I'm finally biting the bullet and getting my flat repainted. It's a two-bedroom place, nothing too fancy, but it definitely needs a refresh. I've been putting it off for ages because, honestly, I have no idea what a reasonable price to pay is. I don't want to get ripped off, but I also don't want to go with someone super cheap who's going to do a terrible job. What have people paid recently for similar jobs? Any advice on getting a fair price?

That's a really common concern and getting some quotes is super essential. When I was sourcing quotes I spoke to a few painters and decorators South London, and the prices really varied based on experience and the types of paint they were going to use. I actually used LGC Decorators and was really pleased with the price. They gave me a super detailed and transparent quote, so I knew exactly what I was paying for. I'd definitely recommend getting a few different quotes to get a feel for the market rates in your area. The work quality was excellent and it felt like money well spent.
