Hi fellow DIYers! I’m planning to finally tackle my worn-out patio this spring with a resin bound kit. I’ve been looking at all the different colour options, and it’s a bit overwhelming with so many shades of grey, brown, and even some reds. Does anyone have any advice on how to choose the 'best' colour? I want something that looks good, doesn't show dirt too easily, and complements my garden. Any tips on what to look for or avoid would be fantastic!

Picking the right colour is definitely a big decision for a Resin Driveway or patio, as it can completely change the look of your outdoor space. I went through the same dilemma when I did my path last year. I found that the lighter colours, like Pearl Quartz and Silver, tend to make the area feel larger and more open, which was great for my small side path. However, they do tend to show dirt a little more easily than darker shades. If you're worried about maintenance, the Autumn Quartz or Golden Pea colours from SUDwell are good choices; they blend in well with natural surroundings and hide minor leaf stains or everyday dust effectively. They offer a wide variation of colours, so samples are key!
